Below are some critical reviews about ANCHEER Folding Electric Collapsible Commuter Veeeeery disappointed. Bike came in defected but I didn't notice until after I put everything together. The cover for the back wheel is broken. Seat doesn't fit in to the bike. Tried to return they asked us to return and ship it to China without covering the shipping fees. Like how disrespectful are you to your customers to have the audacity to send us broken stuff and not covering the shipping for return. Not to mention it took me 3-4 emails of communications to ask for the return address (first 3 emails were basically like can u give us a chance, do u wanna watch the introductory video again). We all know how hard it is to make money and 499 to me is kinda big. Bruh karma's gonna get to u lol I said it.
I got the e-bike after two weeks of waiting. Everything looked okay. I got it all set up and first day I rode around for a couple of hours. Next day I did the same. Third day I woke to a flat back tire. I went and took the back wheel off. I changed the inner tube and put the wheel back on. Okay, I'm ready to go riding. I put the key and turned it on. I went to the meter and pressed the on button. The nice blinking red lights went on and they would stop at zero. The light didn't stay on zero it skipped to number two spot. There it stayed. I got no power to the motor and it's been like this ever since. It doesn't work anymore. @#$%& :{
Just be careful the fender on the rear was bent, But overall fun, fast, fantastic bike to own. Power for day"s In keeping with what I said my bike was jus stolen in front of a building all locked up pretty as you please. Came out of said building and the only thing left was my seat, lock, and rack.I'm KEEPING THE BIKE, THE FENDER WAS "BENT AND A FLAT REAR TIRE" I AM GOOD. Just to add the back tire got flats once a week. I only had this bike since April 22/2020

love this bike! its portable and fold able, light enough to pick up and load into the car. Runs smoothly and at speed 1 it goes fast. I tried in on a flat leveled road and top speed I got was 19 mph and 10 miles on one charge. I can slow it down to 10 mph and get close to 15 miles without any pedaling. Very impressed with it. I have another electric mountain bike which only gives me 10 mph and 6 miles to the charge. Bike bike supersedes my mountain bike in performance, power and distance. Its easy to get on and off with the low bar. The battery can be taken out and another battery placed in to increase your distance even more if you carry an extra set. Battery takes me 3 hours to charge so far. It rides like a moped or scooter, you get a different feel because of the smaller wheels.Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller electric bike with a punch.
I bought the Ancheer Folding 16" commuter ebike. I am already seeing improvements in my balance and stamina, I have never ridden such a small wheel bike before and takes some getting used to. I am 5'6" senior, and would have been happier with a 20" wheel. I learned to put my behind further back on seat to better ride bike, this folder is heavy around 47lbs, without the motor I would say the unit could possibly be 27lbs, the battery is about 7-10lb, and can be removed for easier lifting.Bike is powerful and does not struggle with hills or my 130lb, it folds up easily once you do it a few times, the handle bars are not adjustable and do not fold without using two different allen wrenches that are included, I see that it is possible to purchase a true folding handle bar from other company.Comes with reflectors front, back and on both wheels, bell and a head light, batteries not included, a full tool kit for small amount of assembly and adjustments is included, I also used my own pliers and drill for screws. Brakes had to be adjusted as they did drag, but that was easy and I found instructions at "ancheer sport" on youtube, brakes work extremely well, also instructions at "ancheer sport" to straighten up a bent fender as mine was bent during shipping, and the strong fender and brace protected the engine and disc brakes but was bent, sellers are very attentive and are compensating for the ding that was too difficult for me to fix. I feel that these are things that a bike dealer would have to do before putting the bike out to sell as the bike was packaged extremely well.For safety sake it is smart to tighten all bolts for all new bikes and check every so often, check and adjust brakes, check tire pressure, Tires were at about 20lbs pressure on arrival, so more air was needed, chain was properly greased. Handle bar grips are secure but because of arthritic hands I must use padded gloves, for the younger person they should be fine. I read complaints about the seat, but I found it well padded, of good quality, adjustable and folds up easily to remove battery, at arrival, the seat tube/pipe did need a bit of adjustment to put the seat in, seat has quick release to adjust seat or to remove it for folding, folding parts have safety features. The battery is easily removed and replaced, locking it is not super secure, so I would not leave it in bike for long periods of time in public.All in all I'm learning about my ebike on every ride, I find the throttle is good to use to reduce any "jerking" and each time I ride I find new ways to make my trip comfortable and safe. For a "low end" bike this company has stepped up to high end safety and decent powered ebike, the only thing many of the more expensive bikes have on this one is they are usually lighter. I am grateful for the price and quality of this little ebike. If I have any problems with it in the future I will be back with an update.
It came super fast. I order Friday and it come The next day even though I didn’t paid for expedited.The bike is very heavy like other people said. It feel really sturdy and the construction is really tough for a e-bike. This is NOT an EASY carrying on a bus or train type of bike. You will find out the handlebars is not removable without a wrench (Don’t recommend to repeatedly doing since it will damage the nuts!!!) The seat can be tilting up by pushing the lever without any tools. The rear reflector will be in the way of removing batteries. I did loosen up the screws so that you can swing the reflector sideways to clear the batteries path. Overall the speed is really fast (more than 18mph!!!) Batteries seems last more than 15miles. This is a good buy for sure.
