Everything arrived in perfect condition with minimal assembly. It took a moment to figure out where the headlight goes, and the rear reflector has a bike-seat (not a frame) mount, but I didn't even need the instructions. (Good thing, because the "instructions" suck. Find a video instead.) That said, if you buy this, pay attention: as others have noted, the front disc brake will be on your LEFT side when you're done (the fork is reversed for packaging purposes).I'm honestly surprised by the power; I'm 5'9" and 240, so I researched ebikes before settling on this one. Pedal-assist on low in a lower gear will actually try to speed me up, so I had to find a good cruising gear. Motor-only from a standing start was sluggish, no surprise; when already moving (and even not that fast) this thing kicks butt!A couple of weeks in, I had a wreck (brakes were mounted reverse of what I'm used to; front wheel locked up during a turn). The half-throttle/light/horn assembly was damaged beyond repair. Emailed the official company account and the supposed owners' account several times; no response. I had to buy a near-identical part from a Chinese company and re-wire it myself.Bottom line: happy with the bike, completely disappointed in the company.

Bought this bike for ease of transportation to and from my job which was a town over, a few months ago after having finally received my tax return as I can't afford to pay for an actual car. I apologize in advance for the lengthy review but I wish to warn potential buyers in detail about what they're getting.It arrived quickly and intact, wasn't all too hard to put together despite some slightly confusing things which many other reviews have gone into detail about already...At first I thought I had a gem of a bike after getting everything set up and figuring out all the controls, et cetera. To it's credit the battery has a good bit of capacity to it and the motor is capable of kicking out around like 20 mp/h or more depending on what you're on and if you're pedaling or not.But moving on to the HUGE problems I've had with this bike, everything worked fine for the first week before I learned that this bike's got some really cheap, poorly manufactured parts.Within the first week and a half or so, the locking mechanism for the bike battery somehow inexplicably completely broke, the key lock mechanism quite literally fell out of the slot entirely, leaving only the locking metal pin to keep the battery in place.Additionally within a week after that, the seat that came with this bike actually completely broke off of the post upon hitting a very small pothole on the road in the middle of the night on a freeway, leaving me to have to ride ~6 more miles back home standing up... Not cool. (I'm 5'10 and 210 lbs for the record... I'm a tad on the heavy side but that's still ridiculous for how easily it broke!)I had thought that this could have been a simple fluke in manufacturing with these parts and contacted support for this company to order replacements (which by the way is operated by Chinese people using a translator so there's a slight language barrier at play)Replacements for the battery locking mechanism and a new seat arrived about a week and a half after several days' worth of back and forth with support to try and explain my problem exactly so I can get replacements.Alas, I kid you not, within three whole days of very light, bump free riding, the new battery lock broke in the EXACT SAME WAY. The seat seems to be holding up but that's a moot point considering major problem #2 which I'm now dealing with.After a combined total of like two and a half months of riding this bike with a conscious effort to avoid potholes across perhaps ~200-300 miles for a grand total I've ridden, several spokes on the back wheel suddenly break all within the same day, counting at least five spokes broken and at least 3 more damaged.I contacted support to ask for a replacement wheel since I lack the tools/cash, physical ability or knowledge to repair a wheel with broken spokes but they were extremely ADAMANT on only sending me replacement spokes which I can't use. I had to get a hold of a local professional to attempt to get help in fixing this, and even with his tools, it was beyond his ability to fix because the cheapo tires they use bent pretty easily... I'm now looking at having to spend around 150-200 dollars out of pocket simply to buy a new wheel and get the motor hub transferred on to a new rim with new spokes because of shoddy manufacturing, and I can barely afford my rent as it is... Pretty awesome.I'd suggest steering FAR clear of this bike if you don't know much about bike repair because you may end up in my situation as well.

I bought this bike, it arrived faster than expected, and was easy to assemble. However the quality of its construction is complete trash. For a 600 $ ebike, the cost is in the battery, not the bike.My very first ride on this bike, the gear/chain mechanism derailed and became jammed/ wedged and mangled up around the pedal arm base.I was stopped on the sidewalk at a redlight, and as soon as the light turned green i began pedaling and this happened. (didnt change gears or anything, just started casually pedaling like i was the past few miles) within a maybe 2-3 rotations of the pedals as I knew it was messed up, and to get my balance so as not to fall.I did get authorization to return this bike, but after disassembling it, reboxing it up, and then i finally checked prices for shipping back to China. I decided it wasn't worth the costs of returning it, and just going to have to eat the costs of buying something made poorly.

This is my first E-Bike. I researched several brands, and designs of E-bikes and I highly suggest you do your research as well before purchasing. However, hands down, this is about the lowest price you are going to find on an entry level E-Bike for the price. Read on.I've wanted to commute to work for a while now, but with no showering facilities at work, I wasn't about to ride one of my traditional bikes and sit in my sweat for the rest of the day. This bike has solved that problem. For reference, I am 5 ft 5 inches tall and about 175 lbs. With this E-Bike I can ride to work in full throttle mode, or with minimal pedaling all the way to work (7 miles, with a few fairly steep hills) in about 30 minutes. On the ride home I can pedal like a regular bike, use pedal assist, or full throttle depending on my mood. On my way to work I average about 13-15 mph using just the throttle with occasional pedaling to get up the 2 or 3 hills on my route. I am by no means really putting any effort into the pedaling, but just helping the motor a little as they are fairly steep. I could certainly use just the throttle and make it up the hills on my route and would probably average about 8 mph up the hills. During the rest of my commute (which is on a local bike trail) the terrain is flat which increases my speed to about 16.5 mph, thus the average mph of around 13-15 mph. On my commute home I don't really care about getting sweaty, so I tend to pedal with pedal assist set on the highest level or use full throttle and pedal constantly. With this option I easily average 18.5 mph and occasionally hit up to 20 mph. It's a nice 25-30 minute workout. I will say that even on the highest gear (21 gears included) you can spin out on this bike. I do wish the gear ratio was a little better so that I could really push it above 20 mph.THE DETAILSASSEMBLY... My bike was delivered pretty much damage free. A small puncture in the box that didn't seem to affect anything inside. It took maybe 5-10 mins to remove everything and begin assembling. Tools are included for assembly but I reverted to better ones just because it was easier. There's not too much to assemble, and as long as you have some basic general knowledge about bikes of any kind you shouldn't have any problems doing it yourself. You have to install the pedals, the seat, the handle bars, the front tire, and the headlight. I don't really get all the comments about the front fork being turned around. The headlight bracket should easily tell you which way the fork needs to be turned. Think about it people. Anyway, everything assembled with no problems whatsoever. If you are unsure, search Youtube for assembling this specific bike and watch the videos before you begin.CHARGING... Although the battery does have some charge out of the box, I would recommend fully charging the battery before first use (follow the instruction). At the very least, plug it in while you're assembling the bike so it can be getting some charge. The charger connects very easily to the battery and has a light indicator when the battery is charging (red light) and when it is fully charged (green light). Don't keep the charger continually connected to the battery after it is charged (read and follow the instructions). Once the battery is charged, place it in the battery holder on the down tube of the bike and snap it in place. Mine needs a little pressure to get it to click fully into place. It should not be removable once clicked in, and will require the key that came with it (set of 2) to release the battery.THE FIRST RIDE... Once the battery is charged and locked in the battery holder, you'll press the red rocker switch at the base of the battery to turn it on. On the handle bars, you'll press the ON button for a second or two and red lights will illuminate to let you know it's on. By default the E-Bike will be in the lowest level of pedal assist mode. In this mode you will get some assistance from the battery after a few pedal revolutions on the bike. You'll feel it kick in. The throttle does nothing in this mode. If you click to the middle level then you'll get more assistance from the battery, and it is noticeable. On high you'll get the most assistance out of the battery. It usually takes 3 or 4 pedal rotations for it to kick in, but it does an ample job of assisting you while you're pedaling, especially on hills. Keep in mind that you must pedal for the pedal assist modes to work. Once you stop pedaling then the battery disengages and you coast on your bike as you normally would. If you resume pedaling, the battery assist will kick in again after a few pedal revolutions. If you click all the way back to low and then one more click, you will be in throttle mode. In this mode you'll use the half throttle grip on the right handlebar to power the bike. No pedaling is needed in this mode, however, you still can if you want. If I'm at a complete stop I tend to pedal a couple of revolutions before turning the throttle, again, just to assist the motor from having to propel me from a dead stop. If you keep the throttle engaged fully on flat terrain you should easily see 15 to 18 mph depending on your weight, etc. NOTE: From the factory the bike comes with one of the wires connected in the wire box to limit your mph to under 15, but you can disconnect that wire to achieve the 18-20 mph speeds. Go to Youtube and watch the video on how to do this. Easy, peasy. While most of my commutes are short (7 miles each way), I was able to take this out one weekend and rode about 48 miles on it non-stop with full throttle and pedaling constantly. The battery finally drained at about mile 49-50. From a time perspective it took me about 2 hours and 40 minutes with a short break to ride the 50 miles, so the battery lasted a pretty decent amount of time with constant use.1 Month In... I've now been riding this bike to work every day that the weather is cooperative and really love it. I don't sit in traffic during morning or afternoon commutes. I get a little bit of a built-in workout in the afternoon, and have had no issues with the bike at all. Unlike other reviews, the horn and head light have worked without any problems as well. I will say that I agree totally with everyone's assessment of the seat that comes with the bike. IT IS BAD! Uncomfortable is an understatement. However, it's a pretty easy fix. I replaced it with one of my other saddles and I'm riding perfectly comfortable now.A FEW CONS... During my maiden voyage (first ride) one of the wires inside the wiring box became disconnected after I went over a fairly large bump. I immediately lost all power to the bike and had to finish the ride the old fashioned way. After arriving at my destination I contacted Ancheer and worked through the issue. They were very responsive to my emails, and after removing the box where all the wiring terminates I found the disconnected wire, reconnected it, and have had no additional issues whatsoever. It was at that time that I also disconnected the wire the limited the bike's mph to under 15 mph. While the disconnected wire wasn't a huge issue, the bike is VERY heavy and even with lower gears it can be tough to propel this bike on hills. As a comparison, my main road bike is about 18 lbs. and this bike clocks in at 50+ lbs. IT IS HEAVY no matter how you slice it. You get use to that pedal assist pretty quickly. Many reviewers have complained about the squeaky disc brakes. Here is where I believe you need to be a little more educated on bikes in general. Disc brakes require a little finesse and adjustment to eliminate the squeak. There's this really great thing called the internet. Google how to remove disc brake squeak, or get on Youtube. There's at least a dozen good videos on how. I watched a couple, made a few adjustments on the front wheel of this bike and viola!, no more squeaky disc brakes. Bike's are mechanical and need tune ups and attention. Just like a car, if you neglect it, it's going to let you down. Not handy with tools? Find a good local bike shop and service your bike yearly, every 6 months if you ride heavily. They can also assist with derailers that aren't completely in tune. The ones on this bike weren't when it arrived but I wasn't expecting it to be perfectly tuned for this price point.CONCLUSION... As I said at the beginning of this review, after researching E-Bikes for about a month before purchasing, this is the lowest price point that you're going to find for a complete E-Bike. I've been very happy with it. I am genuinely disappointed when the weather is bad and I have to drive me car to work. I would recommend an E-Bike for anyone who wants to take up biking but may have some mobility or stamina problems with riding a regular bike, and would specifically recommend this Ancheer E-Bike simply for the price point. Is it the best built, best quality bike...no, but it is a very good entry level E-Bike.

Firstly this is not a motorcycle. I bought this to use as a daily commuter.I now have 1000 + miles on it. The pedal assist works fine and may be ok for leisurely riding but I just use the throttle and pedal. This is a great bike. Strong frame and wheels. Been in two crashes and no damage. The tires are nice off road tires and now live on my daughters mountain bike. I switched them out for high pressure road tires. Forget about the horn and light. They don't work. I am 6'1" 32" inseam and had to buy a longer seatpost($30) to fit this frame. 13miles each way commute. Battery life is fine. After the 26 mile round trip it has a little juice left but not enough for another ride to work. I would buy again.

It saves me time and money and enjoy the ride.The bike is a little heavy, but not too bad. I did a lot of research before buying this electric bike, It is priced right and you get a lot more than you pay for! I like that it takes me 10-20min to get to school, but you have to charge it each way wish the battery would last longer. There is an immediate boost of power the second you get on so the only reason to go to the next level is if you are truly ready to ride. Great electric bike that you will definitely enjoy! You wont be disappointed with this purchase.
