Below are some critical reviews about ANCHEER Commuting Magnesium Integrated SuspensionMy fair review after 6 months of riding this bike.Total: 3+/5Battery: unbranded, ugly looking blue box inside the bag. Obviously it's not a good idea for the manufacturer to put it in the bag in compare with bikes that have battery attached to the frame. Fully charges in 5 hrs approximately.Battery indicator: shows 5 bars when it's fully charged. 2 bars meaning 1 in real life. 1 bar meaning almost 0 in real life. Get worry if you have 2 bars left, they will be gone quickly. So, handlebar battery indicator doesn't show exactly the power level left in battery.Handlebar: not adjustable, which is terrible. I got my back hurts almost everytime on this bike. I'm 6'' height, obviously this handlebar is not for me and people same height. It can't be lifted up.Suspension: good, no complaints.Tires: you should get away original ones and purchase real mountain tires. Original ones more likely should be used for streets. I got original tires flat in my first week. I recommend to use tubes from GoodYear brand, 26'' tubes you can find in Walmart.Seat: regular mtb seat, strong enough, no complaints.Light: no complaints. Battery powered medium power light.Throttle: goes well, smooth, no complaints.Brakes: disc brakes, easy adjustable. They creak time by time but no serious complaints. Use both brakes at the same time like on motorcycle.Motor: goes well, not so powerful but enough for the streets no complaints. 250W.Gears: Shimano 3x7. Very good brand. I like Shimano gears. No complaints. Go perfect.Chain: no complaints. Don't forget to clean it time by time. Google it!Frame: folding is a plus. Sturdy alluminium alloy frame. No complaints.Wheels: good, no complaints, sturdy and strong aluminum alloy.Assist mode: max assist mode with pedaling gives you 17 mph.Pure electric mode: 15 mph.
Beware of this seller if you have a problem. Parts missing and front frame has a manufacturer defect that is completely warped. Unable to install front tire. No one to talk to. In order to return, it has to be returned to China at my expense. I should have checked more clear. Complaint turned into Amazon. 3 weeks and still no resolve. Seller wants me to remove complaint before refunding me which is against Amazon Rules.
It's a very basic bike that comes with a very low grade fork (that I replaced immediately). The gearing is a bit on the low side if you commute regularly so you have to paddle a lot (replaced that after a few weeks. The battery lasts me in maximum assist about 35-40 miles what is almost 3 commutes for me, just what I expected. The level of assist makes the 14 miles each time pretty relaxed, but unfortunately only about 10% faster than my nicer non assist bike, because this one doesn't roll as easily. The assist unfortunately takes several seconds before it reactivate whenever you stop to pedal.

I've had this bike for a month and i ALMOST was about to give it 5 stars. I've put about 150 miles on it.Pros: looks awesome, battery/ motor decent for the price, SUPER fun to ride, I've done some crazy uphill mountain biking on this (I'm 145lb) and it is SUPER helpful for big hills. The light on the front SUPER bright, suspensions decent front and back ive gone over plenty of low roots and drops and it hold up well, tires are a good street mountain mix (not the best mountain bike tire but it does the job), the rims are super nice metal dont have to worry about bending the spokes and they look niceCons: if you take this on a trail make sure you do not try and go over any big roots or high logs !!! There is a metal bar welded on the bottom of the bike sticking out ( I think as a stand when you fold it maybe?) It WILL get caught on what ever you go over if its too high ( id say you could jump over a 5 inch root tops other wise the bottom of the bike will catch and will throw you off the bike). Other con offer a month of riding it the throttle wire is loose causing the throttle to not work i had to take it apart and re connect it but now it works. The battery bag velcro WILL eventually rip off the bag, make sure you buy extra Velcro straps to hold it on, also make sure the battery wont be getting hit by the front light when the suspension moves up and down.the seats really uncomfertabeOverall, i love this bikeUPDATE: they sent me a new throttle, customer service was great! Bikes back on the trails!
Make sure that when you buy this bike, don't expect that you will be getting a perfect bike given the price!.Pros:- Seat is comfortable!- Build and quality is very good! Gears were very well fine tuned!- Battery life is better than I expected- Motor is more powerful than I thought, mind the fact I am 155 lbs guy.- Front head light is bright enough- Even though there are some cons, but boy, I never knew that it will draw that much attention. I see heads turning towards bike while stopping at signals, people coming to me and asking me at bike stands that where I got it from, whoever has seen gets surprised that how cheap it is. So this is why I am giving it 5 star rating!Cons:-First week when I started using it, one of its peddle got jammed which I replaced recently.-The front shocks leaked a little bit after the first ride, but since then its all fine-You may need to play around with positioning of the battery and then you may also need to bend down the bracket of the front light downwards a little so that the battery wont hit it and mess up its alignment when you go through a bump.Note: Mud guards, tail light, lock and cellphone holder added by me
I bought two of these about a month ago and, since then, we have ridden them for about 100 miles. Our average outing is about six miles. We live in very hilly country and, given that we are not athletic, the electric motor boost makes a real difference in being able to negotiate the terrain here. We have also taken the bikes to other locations in a compact SUV because the bikes are foldable, so we can easily fit both bikes into the back of the car. They are relatively heavy (about 25kg) so it is best if you have another person to help you. Knowing what I know now, I would purchase these bikes again. The battery life has been excellent, the quality is good, and they are fun to ride. We did replace the seats and we also installed a riser to raise the handlebars about 10cm for increased comfort.
