Reviews

Below are some critical reviews about Elite Bicycle Stealth Freestyle Gunmetal

This is a kid's bike, not a serious BMX bike. I suspected this going in but I figured better to get a $280 bike to see if my son is even into the whole BMX thing vs. spending serious $1300 on a We the People to find out all he wants to do with it is cruise an 1/8 a mile to his podnuh's house to play Fortnite. It looks amazing and he loves it that's all that matters to me. Front pegs hit the fork tubes so if you tighten them down, you can see the axle start to bend. One of the Allen screws on the handle bar block is now stripped after one day of riding/ doing wheelies...we couldn't get the handlebars to stop moving forward and back when riding hard so I ended up overtightening one of the allem screws I assume causing it to strip out. There is a reason you spend minimum $500 on a new BMX bike that you intend on riding hard, especially when you or your kid's safety is involved. This bike is a great poser bike and definitely looks the part, especially to an 8 year old who just cares about the lime green tires and pot metal pegs hanging off the axles...if you're like me and just wants to see if your kid is interested in BMX before dropping beaucoup moulla on a setup that only gets used to ride over to thier friends' house, this is a good choice. It is a good looking bike and definitely looks the part...much better looking than the average bike you see in Walmart so it's worth the extra $80 for the aesthetic woah (his friends were literally drooling over this thing and my son's head is now twice the size it was this morning). AGAIN, I WOULD NOT let my kid do any serious BMX work on this bike if anything for the sake of safety...its too heavy and not strong enough imo. Cruising the neighborhood, great...BMX park, nope.

I guess the plastic protection on some of the parts did their job. The box came beat up, holes with parts poking through, smashed bits of plastic inside (turned out to be protective end pieces for transit). Not a lot aside from the cardboard box to stop the bike from getting damaged. Build quality of the bike is OK but not great.

I ordered this Bike for my Grandson which arrived in a box to be assembled which I was aware of. But the box contained No Instructions / Guide and No Hex Key tool to assemble. One needs a special tool also to assemble this Bike and the tool should have been included for the price paid. The box did not include a Kick Stand either which I'll now have to purchase myself. The foot pedals were a struggle to assemble due to the factory threading being out of line. The handlebar assembly was not easy as after the top plate is removed to place the handlebar in position, when the top plate was placed back on, the 4 screws "barely" reached the other side to thread as the handlebar tube is too big. Once I was able to force the plate down, I was only able to tighten a little bit which could be a hazard due to probable handlebar movement when riding. This Bike is NOT worth the money spent in my opinion....

Came with a flat tire in front. $25 for a bike shop to repair. Amazon made the refund for repair. Still a hassle.

Did so much research on a good bike for my 8 yr old without breaking bank or having to replace it right away. I’m so glad we we r with this bike!! Perfect! Looks bad a$? rolling in the neighborhood.

My son (13) loves his new bike. We got the flat black "stealth" model. My only critique is the hex screws rust extremely easily. He rode it home in the rain one time and they all started to rust. We cleaned them up and sprayed them all with a flat black rustoleum, would have been a lot easier to do before assembly. I highly suggest painting any unpainted screws.
