Below are some critical reviews about Electric Commuter Mountain Removable Lithium IonIt's nice for getting to work and going around the city. Not as fast as it says it is. It only goes 17 on a flat surface. I only weigh 180. The bike only goes 12 miles on a single charge. Not as described. The bike broke on my first week and still no repairs have been made; It comes with Warranty and I even bought insurance. The light has a mind of its own, and the battery always falls out on small bumbs, sidewalks and more.

Just got this ebike this morning and charged the battery. It looks like the battery came fully charged, but charged anyway just to make sure. So far I am LOVING this bike and it is exactly what I was looking for. I live basically in a valley and there are a ton of steep hills. Leaving the house on a traditional bike leaves you tired before I even go a 1/2 mile because of the steep hills. The assisted mode makes it so much more pleasurable to ride. I still get a good amount of exercise and turn off the battery most during most of the ride, but turn it on with the steeper hills. I went over 12 miles the first day without even realizing it.The only reason for not giving 5 stars is not so much because of the bike itself, but more because the instructions are really bad. They probably should rewrite them. Because the bike is mostly put together, the instructions are not consistent with what you really need to do to complete the assembly.Nowhere in the instructions, does it tell you how to turn on the front lamp. For anyone getting stuck trying to figure that out, let me save you half an hour trying to figure that out.To turn on the headlamp:1. Make sure the batter is on.2. Turn on the power to the eBike3. Press and hold the plus sign for 3 seconds until the light turns on.4. To turn off, press the same plus sign for 3 seconds to turn off.The other thing you will want to know, is in any mode, once you start pedaling the assisted power kicks in. It is a little shocking at first when you are not expecting it, but you get used to it.The last thing to know is the meter operation, touched on in the instructions but not well explained. When you turn on the bike, the default setting is on low with that light indicator on showing that setting. Clicking the plus sign will change the power to medium, followed by high in the assisted mode. If in the low setting and you press the minus button, all the mode lights will be off, which will take the bike out of assisted power and turn it fully electric.Other than the terrible instructions, the bike itself is great!
We are so impressed by this purchase. We looked for months for very specific parameters and this bike fits them all. It was easy to put together, rides very smooth, is fast, comfortable ride, and great price! We just hope it lasts long but it appears to be built well. Would definitely recommend
The bike is great . I’ve ridden it to work everyday weather permitting, since I brought it. As you can see it was nice I had to do it twice .
